When Atlas designs yoru cabinets in parallel to programming your PLC, the IO loop drawings match your tags, instrument specs account for 2, 3 or 4 wire devices before you get to the field, and your panel is fully FATed with the final program minimizing commissioning headaches. 

Our team designs every panel to UL 508A standards and has capability 698A for hazardous area locations as well.

  • How does Atlas OT ensure quality in control panel fabrication?

    How Long does it take to design and build a control panel?

    Standard lead time varies on complexity and quantity for your industrial control panel leadtime. Atlas OT can typically complete a control and electrical panel design in under 4 weeks. 

    Control panel fabrication can take about 4 weeks from receipt of materials and approval of design drawings. Plus two weeks for final Factory Acceptance Testing and shipment preparation. Expedited builds maybe completed depending on material availability and current backlog.

    Does Atlas OT provide integrated panel testing and FAT?

    Absolutely.  Our differentiator is that we can not only electrically design your electrical and control panels, but we can do a fully integrated Factory Acceptance Test to network all the panels together and deploy logic to test interlocks, communications and safety. Our FAT can include Software Acceptance Testing as well to reduce risk for onsite commissioning and startup.

    Do you install electrical control panels?
    We partner with experienced Electrical Contractors to pull the conduit, cables and set the panels if you like or can work with your preferred contractor. Our team can act as an owner's agent to supervisor electrical installation of control and electrical cabinets and provide field IO checkout, installation supervision, loop checks, commissioning agent, and onsite startup support. Control Panel Commissioning is standard for all systems we design and program.
